About Us
 The First Chevrolet Dealership Opened in Clarksville in the early 1900's and was located at 210 Main Street in downtown Clarksville.
In 1969, James L. Corlew and Gordon Hawkins Purchased the dealership then located across from Austin Peay State University, at 722 College Street. With only 30 employees, under the name Hawkins - Corlew Chevrolet, our first year sales were over 1000 vehicles.
In October of 1987, Mr. Corlew purchased Mr. Hawkins interests in the dealership and began to operate under the name of James Corlew Chevrolet.
In May of 2000, Mr. Corlew purchased Ed Groves Oldsmobile/Cadillac and the business became James Corlew Chevrolet-Cadillac-Oldsmobile. All 3 automotive brands are located at 722 College Street.
With over 30 years in business at the same location, we are a family of over 100, and have delivered over 100,000 vehicles.
James Corlew Chevrolet-Cadillac-Oldsmobile has been built on the dedication of its loyal employees, the commitment of management, and faithful Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Oldsmobile owners since 1969. The dealership has vaulted itself to record employee/customer satisfaction, while continuing to offer the full line of Chevrolet, Cadillac and Oldsmobile cars and trucks, as well as an excellent selection of pre-owned certified vehicles.
